Jing’an Temple, Shanghai

For our last day in Shanghai, we took a leisurely tour of Jing’an Buddhist Temple. Its golden pavilions provide a stark contrast to the surrounding cityscape, while also providing peaceful refuge.

Later, we grabbed some coffee at The Cool Docks, an entertainment area (still in development) south of The Bund.

And with this, we say goodbye to Shanghai as well as our month in China! 🇨🇳

  1. The temple stands out not only because of its structure but its painting in gold. A little piece of the old within the new, striking. What an adventure you guys had it was so enjoyable seeing and reading about your stay in China. Looking forward to your next venture. Bon Voyage love ya both God bless
