On this art-ful day, we browsed some of the only surviving Chinese propaganda posters at the Shanghai Propaganda Poster Art Centre.
There was no photography allowed, but the museum went through a thorough history of 20th-century propaganda posters commissioned by the Chinese government. Functional art!
Later, we searched for M50, a tight-knit neighborhood of art galleries. On the way there, we found artists painting and adding graffiti to the neighborhood.
Once you get to M50, you have an all-access free pass to enter the art galleries of various artists and collectives. A few new-age artists combined traditional techniques with sensors and electronics.
Guess won’t be China without the Propaganda Art Exhibit interesting. No photography would be my guess. Graffiti well reminds me of the Bronx, popular anywhere. Interesting art at the gallery. Enjoy love ya both God bless
Interesting!
