Our only check- in luggage was one 24″ Samsonite suitcase each. Max weight 44 pounds (23kg) to abide by common international luggage weight restrictions.
We packed a few pants, shorts, formal and non-formal shirts. Bathing suits, dresses, rompers, sneakers, sandals and dance heels. We estimated about 2 weeks worth of clothes between each wash.
Medium Highland backpack as airplane carry-ons, and a small Travelon brand slash-proof crossbody for day trips and sightseeing. Jennifer also carried a medium backpack carry-on and a crossbody purse.

That is good packing I couldn’t even imagine how I would survive packing for that long period of time, not knowing if I had enough to last me. Good for you as long as there are washing machines.
