Today we took a tour of Bora Bora on a traditional Polynesian boat. We started the day snorkeling in the open ocean with black tip reef sharks and giant sting rays. We then moved around the island to the coral garden where we swam with beautiful fish and eels. The current was really strong so it took a lot of energy to maneuver through the coral. We’ve never seen so many types of fish!
Last, we visited the Bora Bora lagoonarium, where we swam with sting rays and lemon sharks (video of this on our YouTube vlog). We had a delicious lunch prepared by our tour guides, including fruit, grilled chicken, and amazing raw ahi tuna with coconut milk. We ended the day with more beach time and watching the sun set.
