Meiji Shinto Shrine, and East Imperial Gardens

Meiji Shrine in Shibuya is the Shinto shrine housing the spirit of Emperor Meiji.

The shrine is a beautiful natural oasis  inside Shibuya’s bustling city life.

The East Imperial Gardens bolster the Imperial Palace. Visitors are not allowed in the palace, but the gardens provide another welcome slow-paced walk through nature in the city.

At the end of the day, we break back into the heart of the city via Tokyo Station.

  1. Wow it makes me think of the the movie that Tom Cruise was a Samurai have you encountered any stories or places that mention the Samurai.
