Today, we visited Gangnam, as made famous by the hit song, and most viewed YouTube video of all time: Psy – Gangnam Style. 🎧
The area is known for its trendy, high-end stores, K-pop record labels, and malls like Coex (Korea’s largest underground mall). Just blocks and blocks of eateries and shops!
Near the Coex Mall, they have this honorary statue. Oppa Gangnam style! 🎶
Tomorrow, we’ll visit the flashy parts of Gangnam, but today we wanted to see the serene Buddest temple Bongseunsa. It’s surprising that it’s right in the middle of such an urban area, and you can even stay at the temple in meditation programs that last a few weeks.

Can’t believe they made a statue of the hands of the Gangnam style song. So many shops and so well keep. The food always looks interesting hope its taste a good as it looks. Remembered seeing the temples in the movie Pray love and Eat where Julia Roberts stayed to pray and mediate. Awesome. Enjoy love ya both God bless
