By day, we visited the nearby Sumida district for local color at a leisurely pace. Besides being a beautiful place to see the cherry blossoms in the Spring, Sumida is also home to the tallest unsupported tower in the world, the Tokyo Skytree. π
Near the Skytree are museums, an aquarium, a planetarium, and various free exhibits allowing you interactive access to fun science and technology.
By night, however, we kicked it up a notch and went to Shibuya for karaoke, dinner, and a bumpin’ EDM/hip hop/trap club located in the night entertainment district.
There are about as many people in Shibuya at night as there are during the day, if not more!
Plenty of karaoke places to go around! About $5 for half an hour. We’ll take two please.
Jennifer does a mean rendition of Whitney.
It’s now 5 a.m., but the club was worth it! Tokyo does not sleep in Shibuya. πΆππΆ Β Β
Sumida seens to be a place of lots of things to see and do. So much technology its mind blowing. Now Shibuya is the place to get down with the party scene. I thought NYC was crowded but this is ridiculous. Karaoke now you are talking. How was the music in the club? Jamming hug. Enjoy Love ya both God bless
