By day, we visited the nearby Sumida district for local color at a leisurely pace. Besides being a beautiful place to see the cherry blossoms in the Spring, Sumida is also home to the tallest unsupported tower in the world, the Tokyo Skytree. 📍
Near the Skytree are museums, an aquarium, a planetarium, and various free exhibits allowing you interactive access to fun science and technology.
By night, however, we kicked it up a notch and went to Shibuya for karaoke, dinner, and a bumpin’ EDM/hip hop/trap club located in the night entertainment district.
There are about as many people in Shibuya at night as there are during the day, if not more!
Plenty of karaoke places to go around! About $5 for half an hour. We’ll take two please.
Jennifer does a mean rendition of Whitney.
It’s now 5 a.m., but the club was worth it! Tokyo does not sleep in Shibuya. 🎶🎉🎶
