Nature and Nightlife, Singapore

This morning, we swapped the urban jungle of Singapore’s main island for the rustic haven of Pulao Ubin.

The rented bikes made exploring the island a little easier.

On the east side of the island, we reached the biodiverse Wetlands. Along the way, free-roaming monkeys and pigs watched us ride by.

Back on the main island, we went for a night out on the town.

Our first stop was the Raffles Hotel, famous as the birthplace of the Singapore Sling.

Then, we hung out at the top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel (the “boat” building). Obviously, great views of a great city!

Without our passports on hand, we couldn’t enter the casino.

Maybe next time!

  1. That is truly rustic haven more like a Sanctuary. Bike for 2 awesome, watch out for those wild pigs and monkeys. Seems like a relaxing and lay back time. Night on the town sounds exciting. The famous Singapore Sling how was it? Beautiful view from the top of the boat building of Singapore at night. Ahhh missed the casino, well look at it this way you saved money. Enjoy Love ya both God bless
